Laminitis & Founder Protocol for Horses
Support for flare-ups, founder recovery, and seasonal hoof inflammation
Overview
Laminitis is a painful and often serious condition caused by inflammation in the hooves, commonly triggered by high-sugar grass, sudden feed changes, or gut imbalances. In advanced cases, it can lead to founder, where the internal structures of the hoof deteriorate or rotate. This protocol combines three targeted supplements—DiVet, ReVet, and SolVet—to address the root causes and support recovery.
Product Benefits
DiVet helps restore gut balance and reduce toxin buildup, making it especially useful before feed changes or during high-sugar grazing seasons.
ReVet promotes joint and hoof repair with anti-inflammatory herbs like Turmeric, Comfrey, and Devil’s Claw, supporting both acute pain relief and long-term recovery.
SolVet supports detoxification and hormonal balance, particularly important during flare-ups or in insulin-resistant horses.
How to Use
For general use, feed a full dose of each supplement daily, splitting into morning and evening if preferred. In active cases of laminitis or new founder, double the dose of ReVet and SolVet for the first seven days, then return to the standard amount. Each product lasts about 45 days at full dose. SolVet may be continued at half dose every other day for ongoing support of endocrine and detox pathways.
Pasture Timing Tip
To help prevent flare-ups, limit pasture time to early morning—ideally between 6 and 10 AM—when sugar levels in the grass are at their lowest.
